Roy Fields was once again leading worship on this special 4th of July Celebration Day at the Lakeland Revival. FREE FOOD had been available from 4:00pm until 7:00 pm and the rest of the evening was preceded with anointed worship for the 'usual' hour and a half.
A short list of some of the nations represented here tonight were; Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Isle of Man, Dominican Republic, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Granada, Philippines, Denmark, Jamaica, Holland, Germany, South Africa, Ireland, Cambodia, Norway, Mexico, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Nigeria, ShriLanka and Slovenia. As stated this list is not complete of all nations coming to the Lakeland Revival but was being read faster than my short hand could keep up!
Again, as witnessed night after night in the Lakeland Revival, when Jesus is in the house the multitudes come from far and wide for an encounter with the Living God.
Tonight was a special baptism service with perhaps 2000 people who had received the LORD during the Lakeland Revival or were re-dedicating their lives were baptized in the above ground pool. On more than one occasion Todd was nearly overtaken by the anointing and almost fell into the pool. He was assisted by at least six of his staff helping people into and out of the water and also helping them be submerged in the act of being baptized into the LORD. Old things have passed away and all things have become new.
The 'eyes' tell it all some coming simply because they have had enough of 'their' life and have received the LORD and are seeking the new life He promises us all. There were many who clearly knew and loved the LORD but had decided the pleasures of this world seemed good and had backsliden for a time and were eager to re-dedicate themselves to the LORD. Then were those children who truly came with childish innocence, when Todd asked one young boy what he thought would happen when he was baptized he said "I don't know that is why I am here".
Todd ended the televised portion of the evening (remember at this point he still had well over a thousand people to baptize) by wishing the United States of America a Happy Birthday and expressed sentiments as a Canadian of gratitude for having such a fine neighbor.
