Roy Fields led the thousands assembled in the Lakeland 'tent' in worship for the usual one and a half hours. Worship helps prepare the heart to receive from God.
Pastor Stephen Strader took the platform tonight explaining some of the history surrounding Lakeland, Ignited Church and the present day outpouring.
As he explained this has been prophesied and looked to for many many years now, and they have always been expecting a tidal wave, however, they wound up with a tsunami!
Pastor Strader has an engaging preaching style which mixes humour with seriousness in the right proportions to keep you listening to what he has to say. And he does have much to say, which the Church needs to hear.
One of his main focuses was the fact that we ALL have the same Holy Spirit living in each and every one of us and that we should not covet someone else's anointing we should be content with whatever role the Holy Spirit would have for each of us.
As unique as our fingerprints are is as unique as God would want each of us to be. As Pastor Strader said the LORD does not make copies, He make all originals.
I am looking forward to hearing more of this mans messages as he clearly is anointed to lead and equip the Church.
There was an altar call for those who did not know the LORD and for those who needed to get themselves right with God. As you can see, the call was well attended. There were several new believers who gave their lives to the LORD tonight. And all the angels of heaven rejoiced!
