Roy Fields led the anointed praise and worship again for at least 1 1/2 hours with a single word song moving into the Presence. The single word song, sung by all was simply 'Glory' repeated over and over again. This one word song turned the praise into worship at the Lakeland Revival now in night 86.The healings and the signs and the wonders are wonderful and certainly most welcome if you need them, but the Worship is still the highlight of every meeting! Learning to 'enter in' and not merely watch on TV or the internet; results in an amazing experience as the anointing and His Presence fall right in your home the same as at the Revival in Lakeland.
There was more testimony of the harvesters who have been trained during this revival. Every day at 1:30 at Ignited Church in Lakeland, where the revival began everyday people are taught how to share the Gospel with power, and are then sent out to reach the lost in Lakeland. To date about 8000 people have been trained. There was a testimony today of two people going out and simply sharing the Gospel with someone they met in the Library, the person gave their lives to the LORD.
Another outstanding example of the Gospel in action is the story of Rudy. Rudy was a homeless man just out of prison, living under a bridge. He was brought to the Lakeland revival where he received the LORD and his life is changed. As he says he now has clothes to wear and a roof over his head and his body has been healed. He is now working in the revival and starting to witness to others.
Todd announced that on July 4 he (personally) is hosting a celebration at the revival and from 4:00 - 7:00pm anyone who comes will receive free hot dogs and hamburgers.
There will also be a water baptism for new believers who have been saved during the revival.
Todd and his assistant Kerra explained the process they go through in order to remain accountable with claims of healing during the revival. They screen people before they give their testimony and they have an extensive follow up system now to verify that people have been healed and that they have kept their healing. They now also have a medical doctor who examines the documentation sent in by people claiming to have been healed.
As Todd rightly points out, the verification process is not something God needs, but rather is something that can be offered to the secular media who may wish to investigate the revival at Lakeland.
In an unusual Word of Knowledge, the LORD told Todd that before he was going to preach on the other 15 reasons you should expect your healing, that He (the LORD) was gong to heal a blind person, a deaf person, a lame person and a dumb or mute person.
Todd specifically called out someone deaf in the left ear needing a creative miracle, someone blind as the result of a failed operation, someone lame and someone who is dumb or mute.
Several people responded to each word Todd called out and I believe that at least someone with each affliction was healed. There were however, several people who responded to each word.
During this time the following happened:
- a woman 100% deaf in one ear was healed and could hear
- a man who was deaf was also healed
- a woman with lost sight as result of failed surgery claims her site to be restored by about 25%
- a man who had his legs crushed in a train/car accident leaving him lame in his legs needing crutches and dealing with pain for over 20 years was healed, no crutches, no pain
- a woman with a hip replacement could not bend her leg because of the artifical joint, was healed and now could bend her leg
- a man legally blind had his sight improved
- lady loosing hair as result of diabetes was prayed for and thought healed
- a man with COPD was on oxygen and after being healed has been off the oxygen for over two hours without ill effect
After the Holy Ghost had finished demonstrating healing Todd then began his teaching of the other 15 reasons you should expect your healing from God. By now there was only 45 minutes of broadcast time left so the teaching was the condensed, speeded up version.
The 15 reasons to Expect God to heal you are:
- God is Sovereign He can do whatever He wants to do
- Charitable Gifts to the poor
- The Gospel
- I am a friend of God
- To Glorify God
- Demonstrates freedom from the curse of the law
- Desparation
- To destroy the works of teh devil
- The Name of God 'I am the LORD that heals thee'
- Communion, healing is in communion
- Gift of the Spirit
- The Name of Jesus
- The nature of the Holy Spirit is creative
- Filled with the Spirit
- I am saved
- The Kingdom of God - miracles are in the kingdom of God
At the end of the broadcast time of the Lakeland Revival a young girl of 13 years and her mother came to the platform. The girl a few weeks ago was suicidal and a cutter (cuts herself), until she heard Todds testimony about the orphans in Africa Fresh Fire ministry helps. The LORD laid hold of the girl and she is now set on fire to help the children of Africa to the point of raising enough money to fund her trip to Africa with Fresh Fire in August and to further raise $1500 to help support the children in the orphanage.
