Loosen Up Your Wallet!At the end of the regular meeting time Todd very plainly told those in attendance that the people of God need to get behind this Revival with their finances to keep it going! Apparently last night, there was 3,000 people in attendance and the total offering was only $15,000! Todd explained it cost $35,000 per day to keep the revival going and also pointed out that he, personally takes nothing from the offerings in obedience to what the LORD has told him. His ministry in Canada pays his expenses. So before you go flying off half cocked about Todd only being interested in your money listen up.....
Editor's Comments: That works out to an average of $5 per person! Considering you will blow off that much for coffee at Starbucks, it is a pretty disgraceful showing considering Who it is we are supposed to be honoring with our offerings! If you don't have any money, of course you have none to give and that is between you and the LORD, however, if $5 is the average across the board, I presume a LOT of people offered nothing!
These meetings run for over four hours, have anointed worship for usually two hours, good teaching and preaching and there are always signs, wonders and healing! Yet, the average offering is less than you would spend on a rental movie! COME ON..............
If you truly are offering the widows mite, the LORD knows you have given your all, but if you came by plane, are staying in a hotel, dining out at good restaurants, doing some site seeing etc, and all you are going to offer the LORD is $5????? What are you THINKING??????
You know preachers get accused of 'only being interested in the money' all the time. Todd and his team, have been very low key when it came to talking about the offering, but when you consider how cheap Christians apparently can be, it is little wonder they feel they have to preach to cover expenses!!!
'nuff said, I'm sure you get the point.
Todd taught on the anointing from Job 29 and how we should all be desiring to live in that place beneath the shadow of the Almighty.
Once again the LORD was ever faithful with many significant healings being testified to including sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf and years of pain being instantly healed.
