Meetings are Not About Todd BentleyOr Any Other Man
One of the messages Todd delivered tonight centers on the fact the LORD wants His Glory to be released through the Body of believers and not through just one person!
He taught that there is a big difference between the Glory coming 'upon' you as opposed to the Glory coming from 'within' you. Remember it is Christ WITHIN you which is the hope of Glory.
Todd also taught from first and second Samuel where he demonstrated the importance of David waiting upon the LORD before he took action. It is far too easy for us as believers, when things are not going smoothly to adpot the 'chicken Little' approach and run around thinking the end has come. Those are the times when we need to sit quietly before the LORD and hear what He has to say about the situation.
Of course once again the LORD did heal people who had come to Lakeland, although by that time the four hour broadcast was concluded and worship and teaching took up the entire broadcast time.
Editors Comment: It is my impression that while healing, signs and wonders are all a part of what you can expect when the LORD is in the house, that is not the primary focus of where the LORD wishes to take us. I think He is trying to teach us the importance of seeking after and cherishing His Presence, for no other reason than being able to spend time with Him.
If the only reason for seeking the LORD is to be healed (which He does) then we have missed the greater blessing of simply spending time with Him.
